IMPROVED PATIENT CARE
Patient care is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to helping professionals provide patients with consistently effective treatment is the foundation to all our efforts.
Our colleagues within the NHS know we’re there to support them provide a better service than they might achieve without our software solutions.
This means, from testing and surveillance to diagnosis and management, patients experience superior treatment, security and care from NHS hospitals that are compliant, efficient and always acting in their best interests.
Putting patients first
By bringing together all relevant clinical information, ChemoCare reduces the time clinicians, nurses and pharmacists spend viewing multiple systems to obtain the necessary information to deliver appropriate care. This enables professionals to concentrate their time and energies on looking after patients
Easy to use and intuitive
The design and development of our solutions is undertaken in close consultation and collaboration with our users, led by the team of clinicians, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals employed within CIS Healthcare.
Delivering Consistency of Care
This is a constant theme of our products, the delivery of best practice through active decision support. This ranges from our unique DAX (Drug Advice eXpert) within Theriak to disease driven protocol based chemotherapy prescribing within ChemoCare. With comprehensive decision-support built in to the prescribing process, the risks of patients receiving inappropriate treatment as a result of human error are minimised.
Sharing information wherever possible
We believe shared information is integral to patient care.
Using a true single-patient record, ChemoCare ensures up to date clinical information at the point of care. A full patient history can be collected including diagnosis, staging, treatment morbidity and outcomes; and used to support decisions for treatment selection.
In addition the rich clinical data generated in our system can be used to support governance, audit and research. The patient can also receive medication data and discharge treatment guidelines.
Ensuring the continuity of care
The continuity of care following discharge is an area of growing importance. CIS Healthcare’s solutions support patients out into the community through the expansion of ChemoCare into homecare delivery and the efficient management of patient discharge via Theriak.
