Theriak Medication Management
Theriak Medication Management, or TMM, is an innovative medication prescribing, dispensing and bed side verification software. Built to support the closed loop of medication management in the hospital, TMM is designed to increase the safety in handling medications, from the moment of prescribing until the administration has taken place ensuring that there is no opportunity for drugs to be used outside of controlled processes.
Eliminating the need for transcribing information from paper to paper, along with excellent support for integration with other applications within the hospital makes the TMM system a complete solution for all Electronic Medication Records within the hospital.
With sophisticated decision support, TMM also streamlines the whole medication process as well as allowing active protocol management of key cost decision points such as the use of infusions or first line vs second line drugs. In addition a unique graphical interface displaying adverse drug interactions enables an easy overview of key safety information.
Together with the ChemoCare module, TMM supports the prescription and administration of all types of medication within the hospital, including complex chemotherapies. TMM also supports unit dose dispensing and is a key part of the largest unit dose installations in Europe.
Theriak Logistics allows hospitals total control over medication logistics, whether it be a single hospital or multi site installations, being served by one or more pharmacies. Theriak Logistics links the prescription system and the pharmacy stock control systems to optimise local stocks, to provide medication orders, tracking of medication and provides financial data for invoicing. When coupled with TMM, single hospitals or hospital groups can control the complete clinical and logistical processes for medication.
