CIS Oncology is pleased to announce that the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is the latest CIS customer to go live with ChemoCare Version 6.0. The upgrade offers a number of new functions that will support the Trust in the future including the SACT dataset extraction tool.
Carl Booth, Lead Pharmacist at Airedale General Hospital said:
“We are pleased to announce that Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has now gone live with the planned upgrade to Chemocare V6. The clinical and IT teams at the Trust worked closely with the project team at CIS Oncology to deliver the project within the planned timeframe. The upgraded system will allow us to continue to develop our chemotherapy service and deliver on the new SACT v3 database. We are very happy with the support and project management offered by CIS which meant that the upgrade ran smoothly”.
Sarah Thomas-Dean, CIS Oncology’s Project Manager for the upgrade added “The upgrade's success could not have been achieved without the customers commitment and valued contribution during the projects lifecycle”.
