National Dataset Management

Dataset harmonisation

Comparing your organisation’s data with external sources is a key way to compare professional performance within your sector and to monitor industry standards. That’s why we designed ChemoCare to be a flexible piece of technology which can be used in a number of ways to support healthcare professionals.

At CIS Oncology, we’ve worked with various national bodies to create bespoke data maps and coding tools that can easily curate data from different systems, acting as reliable sources of information-sharing.

It’s important that regional and national clinical governance is supported by a harmonised dataset where performance comparisons can be made with confidence – and that’s exactly what ChemoCare delivers.

You can use our technology to:

  • Compare your performance with others
  • Monitor practice standards for reimbursement or service performance purposes We can do all of this at either a regional, national or even international level, so if you’d like to find out more, just get in touch with our team.

Since we went ‘live’ in September 2020, and started the training roll-out, we are pleased with the additional functionality the upgrade has provided. Training has been delivered remotely via software platforms due to social distancing restrictions and this methodology has been efficient and successful. Feedback from end users has been positive and many clinicians prefer the new format.

It has taken significant collaborative effort from all parties to achieve this milestone; we look forward to fully utilising the additional functionality and the upgraded software.

We are pleased to announce that Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has now gone live with the planned upgrade to Chemocare V6. The clinical and IT teams at the Trust worked closely with the project team at CIS Oncology to deliver the project within the planned timeframe. The upgraded system will allow us to continue to develop our chemotherapy service and deliver on the new SACT v3 database. We are very happy with the support and project management offered by CIS which meant that the upgrade ran smoothly.
