Streamlining Clinical Studies

Making research more efficient

A key advantage of using ChemoCare is the ability to mine multiple datasets directly from the system. As a result, sites can easily access a wide range of patient records for various research purposes, making the information-gathering process much more efficient.

Whether you are conducting clinical studies, chart reviews or anything else, our technology removes the need for laborious manual data collection so that ChemoCare users have more time to carry out their important research. It also therefore offers the potential for a larger number of studies to be done.

Users can easily access data to streamline:

So, once ChemoCare has identified those patients who are eligible to take part in trials or studies, the process for signing them up is simple.

Key benefits of ChemoCare for research:

  • Digital clinical study documentation
  • Easy identification of eligible patients
  • Support for patient consent process

Since we went ‘live’ in September 2020, and started the training roll-out, we are pleased with the additional functionality the upgrade has provided. Training has been delivered remotely via software platforms due to social distancing restrictions and this methodology has been efficient and successful. Feedback from end users has been positive and many clinicians prefer the new format.

We are pleased to announce that Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has now gone live with the planned upgrade to Chemocare V6. The clinical and IT teams at the Trust worked closely with the project team at CIS Oncology to deliver the project within the planned timeframe. The upgraded system will allow us to continue to develop our chemotherapy service and deliver on the new SACT v3 database. We are very happy with the support and project management offered by CIS which meant that the upgrade ran smoothly.
